Armée des émigrés / Legion of Loyal Emigrants and the Douglases

Louis Jacques de Douglas, born 1737, son of Jacques Philippe De Douglas (1705-1780), served in the Legion of Loyal Emigrants.
My research indicates that this Legion was founded in 1793, so he joined aged 56.  Maybe.

Louis married Marie de Beaulieu.
Louis's brother, Jean Baptiste Philippe de Douglas served under General de Beaulieu, in Sardinia, where he was killed in the battle against Napoleon Bonaparte.
I cannot find the link between Marie and the General.  Perhaps there is none.

The Armée des émigrés (English: Army of the Émigrés) were counter-revolutionary armies raised outside France by and out of royalist émigrés, with the aim of overthrowing the First French Republic and restoring the monarchy. These were aided by royalist armies within France itself, such as the Chouans, and by allied countries such as Great Britain. They fought, for example, at the sieges of Lyon and Toulon.
