Researching members of the Douglas family in Ireland is notoriously difficult. So many records have been destroyed, and the families often moved on to America, or elsewhere.

In a deed dated 11-8-1775:
It seems that the John Douglas of Ardkeragh mentioned in the previous post, moved to Tullyvallan and went on to have 5 sons:
Cornelius, John, Alexander, Robert and George Douglas - who each received a fifth of his farm in Ardkeragh on his death, prior to 1775.
One son, Robert Douglas in Tullyvallan, is mentioned in the attached pdfs where he is selling his fifth of the farm in Ardkeragh to his uncle, Robert Douglas, who still resides in Ardkeragh.
Details in the attached pdfs.

The attached pdfs contain some interesting info about one Robert Douglas (died 1733) who may be the ancestor of the Douglas family line mentioned in the previous two posts, note also the link in the pdfs to the Hamilton Family (probable migration as part of the Ulster plantation from Ayrshire). Also possibly linked to Grace Hall.
In 1728, Robert Douglas, Gent, of Corcosage, County Down, leased for the sum of £220 sterling, as a sub-tenant of John Hamilton of the Maze, County Down, 78 acres of maze land including the Maze Warren racecourse (now known as Down Royal Racecourse). John Hamilton had previously leased the land from Trevor Hills* in 1716.
