My fifth great-grandfather was a professional soldier who's family probably came from Scotland to Sweden and then to Finland (1721). He belonged to the officers of his Regiment. Name: Jonas Jerfgreen or Jergreen. The last name has at least been changed and it is said that it is impossible to find out the original, at least it has not been found in the Regiment's papers. The FTDNA Y line gives a distance of 0/12, 1/25 and 4/37 to the Douglass family who lived/live in the following states: Washington (not D.C.), Iowa, Oregon and Tennessee. They probably immigrated to the US from Ireland.
