    Welcome to our group, Susan.

    I have this note:

    Alexander Douglass married Kezziah Riggins on 21st May 1749 at St. Pauls Parish, Stafford Virginia. Deed book H shows Alexander and Keziah in Granville NC by 1768. Note the double ss.

    Does that seem right? Or is her name Regan?

    I also have a note that Alexnder Douglass (1729-1762) married Keziah Regan (1727-1762). He was the son of Alexander (1709-1754), and she the daughter of Wiliam Regan (1690-1744).

    Hi Susan, I think we are researching the same John Douglas b. 1764 in Surry Co, NC. Many of my cousins have given up researching this line, but I'm still plugging on. :) Hopefully we can make some progress.
