Dates and places help making connections.: I already have information back to 1710, when my Douglas ancestor immigrated from Scotland to the state of Maine in the U.S. I am interested in researching forward from about 1850. My grandfather and father were each the last men in their families from whom I am descended. The first double s Douglass I found was Paul Douglass. I have an 1895 genealogy which follows John and Eunice's oldest three sons and their descendants.
