    Ahh!

    The elusive Lord Archibald Douglas! That is to say that the dates match, so I suppose we are looking for the same person.

    If you use the search box (top right) to find Lord Archibald Douglas you will find others on the same trail.  So far, the trail does not have a satisfactory end., though these are theories that he is a descendant of Sir William Douglas, 9th Earl of Drumlanrig and 1st Earl of Queensbury who was born about 1582.
