    There is apparently a connection between the photograph captioned ';John Ross c1860' and 'John Douglas of New Zealand'. I hope to be able to find out what that is.

    But a new question arose yesterday:

    Whetu Douglas (born 18 April 1991), the New Zealand rugby union player, is the grandson of the vocalist/guitarist Angus Douglas, a former Maori All Black. Who are their ancestors?
