I have a note that says Aaron was the son of Alexander Douglass circa 1730 (70) Scotland, UK Died July 31, 1800 in Surry, NC, USA. He was the son of Mordecai Mitchell Douglass and Mary Douglass.

However, I have not included this in the database as I am not convinced.

Oh! I have just found another reference to Mordecai Mitchell Douglass that has him married to Polly Dilar. It all looks a bit shaky.
