    Welcome to the Douglas Archives Community Network, Amy.

    Logierait , Grandtully, Rannoch and places in between keep coming up in my research, but I have yet to pay them more than passing attention. You perhaps saw my article of a few days ago - Perthshire Families?

    Logerait/Logierait do not appear in my database, which surprised me! I thought I would find some. Am I right in thinking that Douglases from here might have been travelling people? Showmen, perhaps? Maybe I have that wrong?

    I am sure we will turn up something!

    I said that I did not have Logerait in my database, but Daniel Douglas of Logerait does appear on this page: http://www.douglashistory.co.uk/history/Lists/American%20settlers.htm

    And, yes, I will continue to keep my eyes open for more references.
