<p>Looking through some papers in the Mitchell Library archives, in Glasgow, I came across some incomplete papers with extracts from the Douglas family tree.<br></br>This stamp was on some of them, but there was no mention of Norman in the pages…</p>

<p>Carrying a feather in your cap is a mark of a chieftain. Norman (Norrie) Douglas of Dundarrach, Dundarrach, Tarbet, Arrochar, Dunbartonshire G83 7DD, who was elected as Ordinary Fellow Society of Antiquaries in 1986, died during the year 1999–2000. He wrote local (Arrocher) history books and articles.<br />

I think there was a son, Gordon and cousins Kenneth and Ian. Kenneth had a stepson, Ron Beaty.<br />
