My father has been very sick so I have been off for a long time playing catch up. Please email me..  I come from Marion Lapoint (douglas) dau of henry who had a son and then he had my mom. But I have looked into the david U asked about And I belive there are more males in that line

i also can confirm that henry had brothers who had males  William Joseph Douglas

Yes, I am the son of Kathleen Douglas (Dannemiller), b.1929 - her father was Benjamin Douglas, son of Benjamin Douglas (b. 1859), son of Samuel Townsend Douglas.

I would love to see what info you have, and would love to add any missing info you need into your database.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
