He is in a club , the Drums you see are set up [the ones that arent playing]  for the group he is opening for  ,   the piper is using a backing track already burned on a CD , its more portable than drums and drummers   , amps and a complete rhythm section  .....

The amazing thing about this is the the drums are playing themselves  Kook! no drummer!

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
