I received a message from someone who corrected the entry for Roy James Smith. Apparently, he changed his name to Roy Jerome Myers.
Roy, an electrician, had been convicted of fraud. Whilst in prison, he 'invented' a method of obtaining electricty from air. several news articles on his invention, and the manner in which he obtained his patent, together with is autobiography, written on prison notepaper, have been gathered into one place, and can be read here>>>
