My great grandfather was William Douglas (I think his middle initial was "J" but not certain) B. 1847 - d. 1909. He married Elizabeth McKinley in 1871. That is all certified. What I am searching for is his parents. I did get some information from 1850 US census that his Father - William Douglas may have been born 1806 - the William Douglas born to this William Douglas would have been 3 years old and that would be correct as my great grandfather was born in 1847. However, I am not certain of the birth date of his father - 1806 - only guessing from the 1850 census report taken in Bracken County, Kentucky. There are a lot of William Douglas' - whew! So - is there information about the William Douglas born in 1806? Thank you Sherri Beardsley

    Anna DOUGLAS of Lakelet at Walkerton Hospital (died) on Tuesday (either 3rd Feb 2015 or 27 Jan) in her 88th year. Wife of Stuart Douglas. Mother of Gary and Kathy Douglas of Clifford, Marion Douglas of Calgary, Peter and Joanne Douglas of Walkerton, and Stephen Douglas and Jan Hartley of Lakelet. Missed by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruth Herbst, and Lorna and Perry Greenwood, and sister-in-law of Betty Ellis and Stella Douglas.

    My grandmother was indeed Stella Douglas and married Baron Von Pagel.  My mother was Willetta Gracia and her sister was Laverne (can't remember the middle name will need to look it up).  Thank you I will continue with the search and you have been most helpful
