    Sorry I haven't been in touch lately, been a pretty busy year and also I'm very slack!. Thanks very much for the info, I hadn't seen that entry, but will sure do some more digging. This is the first glimmer I have had since I hit the wall.

    The photos of Scotland were taken by our kids when they went there on holiday several years ago ( Did I mention that my son's name is also Michael John Douglass? My Daughter is Sarah Jane). Have a great year and I promise mto be in touch more often in the future

    Very good detective work. My records show he was convicted on 31st July 1802, so that must be them
