Douglas ancestors from Ayrshire 1700's - early 1800's

I’m searching for the parents of my 4th great grandfather, Henderson Douglas 1809–1871 in Ayrshire. I’ve hit a road block tracing them or confirming some information on them. I have census records of Henderson living with his wife and kids in Ayrshire in 1851 and 1861 but nothing afterwards. I also have birth records for all his children and his marriage record. Which Douglas line are you researching? Dates and places help making connections.
My 2nd great grandmother is Agnes A. Douglas (1869 maryland (moved to Pennsylvania before first birthday) - Oct 6, 1930). Her father is Henderson Black Douglas (Dec 20, 1842 in Ayrshire - 1931 Pennsylvania) and mother is Elizabeth Percy (about 1849 Scotland -1870 Pennsylvania). His parents are Henderson Douglas (about 1809-1871) and Anne Glendinnan (about 1812-1884), both born and died in Ayrshire. I found somewhere that his parents are Samuel Douglas (1772 ?) and Jane Towel/Toal (1771 ?). But I'm not certain about the Samuel and Jane. Right now I can't seem to find where I got that information. But I know for a fact the Agnes and two Henderson's.

I have a note of an Ann Glendinning was born in 1811, who married Henderson Black Douglas in 1827, at age 16. Henderson was born in 1808, in Ayrshire, Scotland. They had 2 daughters, Jane (later Millar) and another

There are some Douglases whose forenames include Black in my database. I wonder if there is a connection? https://goo.gl/fmBYnm

I think that Henderson may have been a son of Samuel Douglas and Jane Toal (Towel) (Tole), but have seen no evidence. That would make him (probably) a brother to David Douglas born 12 May 1798 who married  Catherine Baird (born 2 Feb 1814) on 27 Dec 1833. 

David Douglas born 12 May 1798 Married to Catherine Baird on 27 Dec 1833 she was born 2 Feb 1814. their children were Jean(Jane) born 28 July Dundonald, Robert b. o1 Feb 1836 Dundonald, Catherine D. b 1837, David Wilson born 3 Sept 1838 , Thomas B. b 7 Aug 1840 Mary born 29 May 1842 Kilwinning, Alexander G. b 15 May 1844 Kiliwinning, John H, b 13 Jan 1846 Kilwinning, and Robert b 13 May 1848 in Kilwinning.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
