Dr.Charles Vickery Drysdale

He was the first son of  Drs Charles Robert Drysdale and Alice Vickery. He was born in Paris on 8 July 1874 while his mother was studying Medicine there. His uncle was John James Drysdale (1816–1890) founder of the Liverpool Homeopathic Hospital.

 This would be Sir William Drysdales grandson his father was Charles R.Drysdale , his mother was     Alice Vickery ... the two never married .

Charles Vickery Drysdale (1874-1961) opened one of the first family planning clinics at East Street, Walworth, London SE17 in 1921. A Blue plaque marks the site.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
