A PETITION having been presented to Lord Curriejf"\- hill, Ordinary officiating on the Bills, at the instance of Messrs J. & R. SWAN, Boat Builders at Blackhill Lock, near Glasgow, Creditors to the extent required by law of MRS JANET DOUGLAS, Currier and Scow Proprietrix, residing at PorkDundas, Glasgow, now deceased, praying for sequestration of her estates, his Lordship, npon the 24th day of January 1853, granted wa r r ant to cite William Douglas, Sawyer, residing at Mill Square, Anderston of Glasgow, the only Son, and next of Kin and Successor of the said deceased Mrs Janet Douglas, to appear in Court within twentyone days after citation, to shew cause why sequestration of the estates of the said deceased Mrs Janet Douglas should not be awarded, in terms of the Statute.

The said Successor having been duly cited to appear accordingly, and no appearance being made, Lord Curriehill, Ordinary officiating on the Bills, upon the 22d day of February 1853, ordered intimation of the foresaid Warrant to be published in the Edinburgh Gazette, and of new ordained the Successor of the said deceased Mrs Janet Douglas to appear wi thin a further space of twenty-one days from the date of publication of said Int ima t ion, to shew cause why sequestration of the estates of the said deceased Mrs Janet Douglas should not be awarded, in terms of the Statute.—Of all which Intimation is hereby made.
