On a table decorated with a stucco frontal, with a medallion adorned with a pelican in the centre, two twisted columns rise, also in stucco, with rich Corinthian capitals. Around the niche there is a decoration of encarps, flowers, fruits, bundles of leaves, shells, with a cartouche surmounted by a female head towards which two little angels lean out. On the plinths that support the columns there are two coats of arms: on the left that of the Guglieri family quartered with that of the Scotti, on the right a more complex one, in which the coats of arms of the Guglieri, the Gazzola, the Anguissola and a branch of the Scotti appear. On the side walls of the chapel, two scrolls, leaves and undulations scrolls bear writings in the center that refer to the paintings below

HISTORICAL CRITICAL NEWS
From a book of the income and expenditure of the Rosary Company, preserved in the church archives, it appears that the chapel of San Giuseppe was decorated with stuccos in 1724 by the brothers Francesco and Pietro Feroni and by Piatro Agni. The three plasterers imitated the Rosary Chapel, located opposite, decorated with stucco in 1681 by Provino Porta

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
