Hi Bruce! I do have a family tree on paper but I suspect that it is all already on this site. However I confess that I have not sat down and checked!! Hahaha. Only a few hundred entries.
Are you saying that Richard Angus is your ancestor? Then we are probably related, cousin!! Sorry to not be off any more help.
Hi Sarah, I was given your details by William Douglas, I too am related to Alexander Angus. In fact if my information is correct?????? his father Richard Angus is my link to the Douglas Line. I don't suppose you have Any more info on all this??
I'd be happy to give you any information you mightn't have, only problem I still haven't been able to verify it all yet, hopefully one day.
Anyway all the best for the festive season and hope to see hear from you soon.
Regards
Bruce Angus.
The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.
Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.
Professions also help.
'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
