Hi Douglas Bliss

My name is Cara Douglas and my 3rd great grandfather is Daniel Wells Douglas b 1784 Chipping Warden and his mother was Susanna Douglas b1766 Culworth.

Did your George Douglas b1724 have a daughter names Susanna? I see you have taken a DNA test. Who was it through? I have also taken a test it would be interesting to see if we match.

Kind regards

Cara Douglas

Welcome to our community forum, Douglas

Sadly, I do not have much on the Douglas Family in Chipping Norton, but CN does appear in some of the search results. Do you link in with any of those?

Yours aye,

William

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
