Many visitors enjoy driving up passed Loch Lomond, on through Glen Coe and up to Loch Ness - but that is not Douglas country!

J.W. DOUGLAS was born in Loudoun Co., VA, Nov 5, 1797. He apparently had no children of his own, but two step-children?

At the time of James Douglas, Briery Church derived its income, in part, from the ownership and hiring out of slaves.
