Correct.
1676 - Transportation of Robert Drisdale to Maryland
2-7-1683 – warrant for grant of 200 acres of land issued to Robert Drisdale by Maryland Province
18-9-1683 - Certificate of survey of the land delivered to Land Office by Robert Drisdale for a 200 acre parcel called Drisdale’s Habitation
1-6-1685 – land grant of 200 acres called Drisdales Habitation made to Robert Drisdale by Comis. of Maryland
6-5-1689 - Land grant/transfer of 123 acres to Robert Drisdell of Baltimore called Drisdell's Adventure
etc. etc
However, this is still very much a work in progress & surprisingly there appear to be possibly three different Robert Drisdales living in Maryland & Norfolk County areas around the same time.
Best regards
Nic Koontz went on a rant about this fellow being the first Drysdale in North America - bar none.I dug up this land grant in the Library of Virginia eons ago , Robert Drysdale in 1695 was one of the early land holders in Virginia, see below link. https://douglashistory.ning.com/photo/robt-drisdall-1695?context=user
Ronald Drysdale has further information , If I recall correctly predates this 1695 grant.
The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.
Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.
Professions also help.
'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
