Hi Christi

I had a quick look on the Familysearch website and there is already a family tree there for one Luther W Douglas who married Wilma Fields, with father Joe Estes Douglas & Mother Dora F Hampton - the family line looks OK back to the 1700s

Luther W Douglas Familysearch ID G922-DD1

As well as family relationship hints you can often pick up some good source material from this website

Best regards

Welcome to our connunity forum, Christi.

I have had a good root around looking for your Luther, and whilst I found other, I have not found a match for yours.

Perhaps if you can post a few more clues, someone her will find a connection.

Yours aye,

William

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
