Which Douglas line are you researching? Dates and places help making connections.: So far, back to my grandfather George who we thought was born in Lanarkshire or Dumfries and Galloway but was actually born in County Monaghan, Ireland in 1882. His mother, believed to be Elizabeth McIntyre, was born in Lanark/Lanarkshire, Scotland (Alba).
I've asked a genealogist to continue for me.
