Any Douglas who was born in Birnham Dunkeld or surronding area or any who may be still living in the area.My great Grandmother Susan Connacher lived at Birnham Terrace she was a widow on the 1841 cencus

I get enquiries about Douglases from that part of the country from time to time, Paul,  but have been able to make little progress.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
