I too enjoyed it.

Seeing the Polyphoto used to shre later images reminds me of my having a Polyphoto taken.

I wonder where it is now?

Nice Bio, William. I didn't realize you had a page for Blair. I had posted a portion of this documentary previously & I had not come across the whole thing until recently. So, I figured it would be nice to post & have it here in its entirety. I love that he is an voice for languages struggling to survive amidst the dominant culture. Its also interesting to note that he and The Corries both have songs for Nelson Mandela.

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
