Finding all children with descendants, the first son of Daniel and Hannah, was born a Stone's End, MA, near the falls on the neck of the Sudbury River referred to as Otter Neck, Daniel and Hannah moved to Salem, MA where they lost a child. Witchcraft was to be blamed for it. Then the refugees moved to Salem End about 1693. In 1700 Stone's End and Salem End were incorporated into Framingham, MA, The birth records of Stones End and Salem End not Salem were incorporated into Framingham records. As you can see times between children do not leave much space, with inclusion of the one which was born in died in the Salem, MA region.

Regarding my comment below, I should also probably mention that I found this intent to marry in York, Maine 1732.

In 1732 my ancestor, James Douglas, filed an intent to marry Margaret Elliot.  I would like to find out more about the Douglases who married Elliots and about the Elliots

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
