Without a location its hard to tell .... here is the back of this picture. Not much

My guess, was that these deer may have been food for the crew working on the dam. Seeing as how many there are.. but who knows? Lots of work to not let any of that meat spoil!

J,  In my understanding my grandfather Orvin Drysdale had went to work at the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington state in 1937 , this photo isn't tagged for location just a date. Hunting and fishing were some of my grandfather's favorite pastimes-given the number of deer, this Hunting party I would speculate included Orvin Drysdale sr, <brother Lloyd Drysdale,<  possibly  Leroy Houser.

As I said this is speculation on my part.

1937-1938 was said to be a recession within a recession

Russ, I'm curious, what's the back story here?

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
