Now in its third year, the Lammermuir Festival’s most striking event for 2012 is Tantallon! These Lands This Wall, with a new work from composer William Sweeney and writer Aonghas MacNeacail, which promises to bring the building, its history and East Lothian’s past to life. Red Note Ensemble provide the music, which will be heard alongside images projected onto the castle’s walls.
Following on from last year's performance literally under the shadow of Concorde, the Lammermuir Festival sets its big site-specific event somewhere even more majestic: the fabulous ruins of Tantallon Castle. Red Note Ensemble performs William Sweeney and Aonghas MacNeacail's Tantallon! These Lands This Wall, a music and light show designed to bring to life the history of the location.Part of Lammermuir Festival.
The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.
Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.
Professions also help.
'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
