Definitely relative to u and you got his chin Russell, am glad to look at the website this morning and see all the wonderful addition to our family. I do hope to share some pictures one day. This is wonderful

There may be a black and white hidden among all those in that suitcase of photos  William . So far I have only opened one envelope to scan and only half way thru those . As to the quality of this one its a snapshot off my computer screen , Bonnie Lloyd's daughter had sent a black and white copy of this but that was low resolution as well. [Below 335 x 489]

 If I  find a photo version I can crank up the scan to 600 d.p.i.  for better quality  result .

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
