I would like to ask for some help, I have had many name's in my life and my store is long. I was Born Jack Buddy Whelchel, but that is one name I have not uesd. So I have been to find of my back Grand. One of my greatmother was Fannie Marksberry, one of her great grandfarthers was Samuel Marksberry The family clams he was born Douglas, in1663 in Scotland. I don't know. but My DNA, say it could be so the DNA is very strong, and have cross checked with wives name and all ways comes back to the William Douglas Family line. if anyone can help, I think this could be a good mystery, the hole story is on line. Thanks,

Making conections

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.

Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.

Professions also help.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.

Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
