"Don't you think that sometimes? I do. Like I said, I have found no records for Randal Douglas in any early American colony or any British immigration records. There is a record somewhere, but it must be buried as deep as he is."

Randal Douglas and wife Elizabeth has three children. They are: John Douglas sr born 1701 Northumberland va. Randal Douglass born 1703 and thomas Douglas born 1706. All three were out into servantude at one point. That is all I know.

'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
