A collection of historical and genalogical records
I need to add that Sarah Bowman was a daughter by Margaret---first wife of Major Edmond Bowman.
We, now, turn to Colonel Southey Littleton, son of Colonel Nathaniel Littleton and Ann Southey. Will 16 Sept 1679 At Albany on the Hudson Rive0 Dec 1681page 42 Deeds, Wills, etc. #11, 1680-1692 Probate-entered into the Office of Records in New York in the Office of Wills and Testaments. John Willett, husband of Elizabeth Douglas who was daughter of Lt Col Edward Douglas, was a witness to the will.
To son, Nathaniel Littleton 4050 acres upon the Magothy Bay. To son, Southey Littleton 2200 acres to daughter, Esther Littleton King's Neck. The rest of my land in Somerset Count, Maryland, to my daughter, Gertrude Littleton.
We, never, hear of Martha Senior again. When Captain William Willett wrote his will in 1739 he mentions his granddaughters, Isabel and Mary Senior but no mention of daughter, Martha Senior. She, we may presume, had passed away. I suggest that Martha had moved in with Gertrude Harmanson, who in time placed Martha on her plantation in Somerset County, Maryland. It is possible that Martha's passing is recorded in Maryland records.
I descend from Martha Senior through two lines and will present those now.
