He almost caught me........
Good job William is super diligent.
Got email this morning from Ronald Morris, but something rang alarm bells for me so decided to wait till I got on computer to have a look, had a look members list he not there, now I see this on here, so glad I didn't activate it.
Unfortunately, relied to him, thinking nothing of it then he emailed me wanting to make me a "king" that he could pass on some inheritance money to from someone else who had no heirs.
I don't know why but it Just didn't seem right.
I never received anything as far as a notification or spam- William possibly got to him first , However you can tell its spam by the sudden jump in members signing in, by watching the Icons in the upper left of the Home Page.
The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.
Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.
Professions also help.
'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
