Michael,
Here is what I have.
Henry B. married, second, Helen A. Phelps on 16 Oct 1907. They had a son Donald (I have no information about him) and another son, Lawrence R., b. 1910 in NY and d. 1914.
J. Gertrude Southworth d. in 1916. I have information about her children from her marriage with Henry.
I will look at Find-a-Grave and extract whatever information is there.
Can I be of help to you?
Ed
Michael,
In my database I have Henry B. Douglas who married J. Gertrude Southworth 27 May 1893. I have two children from this marriage: Ruth and Marion. Were there any male children? If not, the male line is broken at this generation.
I can take Henry B. Douglas all the way back to William b. abt 1610.
I have found about 15 9th cousins, all descended from William. Some of us have been pooling our money and hiring professional genealogists to search for William's origins. No definitive results, yet. Lots of possibilities eliminated. Still working on it.Let me know if I can be of help.

The more information you can give about the people you mention, the more chance there is of someone else connecting with your family.
Dates and places of births, deaths and marriages all help to place families.
Professions also help.
'My great-grandmother mother was a Douglas from Montrose' does not give many clues to follow up! But a bit of flesh on the bones makes further research possible. But if we are told who she married, what his profession was and where the children were baptised, then we can get to work.
Maybe it is time to update the information in your profile?
